I still have no clue if there is even a greater overarching story to this series, but I'm liking its world and characters very much. I'm glad they are given the time for development. I just do wonder how much can and will be accomplished in this season, given we're already almost halfway. A cour 2 / season 2 seems like a necessity.

  People who knew him before he became undead, and who saw first-hand how he earned his reputation, and now see him continuing to live up to that reputation.
  
  Or people who are seeing his actions now, the same actions that gave him his reputation in the first place, in some cases.

  I couldn't help but notice that the skeleton on the bed in the hidden room kept disappearing every so often during background layer changes. Otherwise, this episode was great.
  
  I love Lorraine's infatuation with magic, especially while she was examining Rentt's new Acacia Map.
